When capitalizing in Braille, there is no seperate alphabet, so a raised dot, in dot 6 of a cell in place in front of the letter that is capitalized, for an entire word it is two raised dots.
Punctuation;
A full stop is written with dots 2, 5 and 6.
A exclamation point is dots 2, 3 and 5.
A semi colon is 3 and 5.
A comma is only a dot 3.
A colon is dots 3 and 4.
Brackets, both open and closed, is dots 3, 4, 5 and 6.
A question mark or the opening quotation mark is dots 3, 5 and 6.
The closing quotation marks are dots 4, 5 and 6.
The asterisk is dots 5 and 4.
An appostrophe is dot 5.
Finally a dash is dots 5 and 6.
