'P' blends;
At the beginning of word.
When a 'p' and an 'l' are couple together at the start of the word, so long as there is no vowel between them, only the 'l' is written, although it is written through the line, as a 'p' would be.

Do note however that is there is a vowel in-between then the coupling of 'p' and 'l' should be written fully, for clarity.

If a vowel or an 's' is written before a 'pl' blend, the 'l', for 'pl' is written through the line.
